How to register your iOS device on Apple Developer account?

This guide will teach you how to register your iOS device and create a provisioning profile for testing on Apple Developer account.


Step 1. Login to your Apple Developer account

First you will need to register the device you will be using. Login to your Apple Developer account. Click on "Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles"


Step 2. Add device

In the next page under iOS Apps, select "Devices"


On the left hand side select Devices > All. Click on the "+" sign to add a new device.


Flill in the device name and it's unique identifier.


An UDID (Unique Device ID) is a 40-digit sequence of letters and numbers that looks like this: 0e83ff56a12a9cf0c7290cbb08ab6752181fb54b. To get your UDID, you have to plug your phone into a computer and copy it out of iTunes. You can follow this guide to find your UDID.
